Trophy wife is a rock paradox forged in the exhaust of dirtbikes and the sweat of a thousand orgies. The musical journey through the analls of rock, groove rock and punk flavours leaves a lasting impression long after the concert is over and brings both bands and fans back for more. Vocalist Josh Toews and Bassist Noel Linsey Have been making music together on and off for the last eight years, which has lead to some basic understanding of what they expect from each other (not much). Through a surprising fluke of fate, considering the average debauchery and chaos they usually cause at bars, parties, and fundraising dinners Noel and Josh met Guitar super hero Rob Naleway at an aphex twin show in Austin, Texas. Rob being the standup guy that he is agreed to offend the masses with the boys after being handed a cd containing two songs recorded on a 1994 dell laptop with a broken R key and 1 input. Kenora drummer Will Percy joined the band after all the planets aligned one horribly drunken evening at the Hotel Fort Garry. 1 drunk call for pizza, 1 delivery driver, 1 illicit substance and 2 phone calls later Trophy Wife was brought kicking and snarling into the world and unceremoniously thrust onto the Winnipeg music scene. The current Trophy Wife condition is this: We are currently in the midst of an intense recording session which has spanned the last 10 months, but hopefully the Cd will be ready soon. We are playing shows at an alarming rate, meeting awesome local bands and trying to steal their fans, and are poised to take over all the worlds. (the takeover has begun and everyone can expect total domination in the next year or so...) All that is left are the questions. Can the scene handle us? Not in a million years. Will you like us? Our sound will crush, kill, destroy, rebuild, destroy again, and finally molest your senses unlike anyone has ever done before. Enough Bragging? NEVER. Stay tuned for a more in depth bio loyal bretheren for we will not disappoint.
